Lioness Utility Wear was founded in 2021 by a Singaporean who saw the lack of fitting utility wear available for Asian men and women on the market.

Who We Are

A former Republic of Singapore Air Force Serviceman and Public Service HR person by profession, founder Jacky Chia was no stranger to the needs of Military Servicemembers and Public Servants in the course of their work.

Issued utility uniforms were mass-produced, and by their nature did not cater to a lot of the fit and comfort needs of women as well as shorter-statured men. Getting uniforms tailored was a costly and time-consuming process, which further implicated Servicemembers' already tight schedules.

Thus, Lioness Utility Wear was born as a cost-effective, one-stop solution to finding utility and outdoor clothing tailored to an Asian-fit, enabling our Servicemembers to remain focused on the mission.
